Summer is the best time to experience the natural beauty of Norway in the Lofoten Islands. The Lofoten archipelago is situated within the Arctic Circle, boasting great mountains, the midnight sun, fjords, white-sand beaches, and several fishing villages.
While you’re here, the first thing you should do is take the Trollfjord Cruise. Then, visit the Viking Museum, the Aquarium, and the fishing village in Svolvær. Be sure to indulge in the region’s seafood offerings.
Afterwards, take a ferry to Vinstad and hike uphill to the sandy beaches where you can relax and enjoy the summer sun. In addition, hike to the mountains for amazing views of the sky.
